CDR has now been active for two decades in Central and South America and the Caribbean, and in some cases in Asia, Africa and transcontinental projects. Since the Foundation started operations in 1989, an estimated total of over 500 projects have been carried out in the field of economic and social development.
The framework of CDR´s consulting services is based on extensive applied research, which combines micro-level studies with sector and macroeconomic analyses. Over the last decennium, CDR’s work has been mainly focused on:

The present strength of the Foundation lies in the depth, specificity and flexibility in the assignments commissioned by bi- and multilateral institutions. of development policies through advisory and analytical methods.
